Welcome to Rapture.

Step into the underwater city of Rapture in one of the most acclaimed first-person shooters of its generation.

BioShock for Xbox 360 places you in a mysterious underwater utopia that has fallen into chaos. After surviving a plane crash, you discover the entrance to Rapture — a once-glorious city now filled with genetically enhanced enemies, disturbing experiments and the remnants of a failed society.

Armed with conventional weapons and powerful genetic abilities known as Plasmids, you'll explore Rapture, uncover its secrets and decide how you want to survive.

What made BioShock stand out was its combination of atmospheric storytelling, exploration, RPG-style character development and first-person combat. Almost everything in Rapture can become part of your arsenal, from firearms and traps to the environment itself.
